Adam is a Principal of The Concord Group.

Experience
Based in Portland, Oregon, he has over 19 years of experience advising developers, investors, public agencies, financial institutions, and family offices. Over his career he has worked closely on a diverse set of residential and commercial projects across the country, leading engagements focused on market, economic and financial analyses for ground-up development opportunities as well as for repositioning of existing properties. He has provided consultation to owners and operators of real estate on hundreds of projects regionally and nationally. His extensive experience in the industry provides invaluable insight for clients seeking to establish programming criteria that maximize the market and financial opportunity represented by their real estate holdings.

Adam has experience with a wide variety of land uses and development strategies, including mixed-use urban infill developments, downtown redevelopments, master planned communities, build-to-rent, senior housing/active adult developments, and hotel/resort projects, including extensive experience with branded residential developments. In addition to managing consulting engagements, he leads staff development across all of The Concord Group’s offices.

Professional Organizations
Outside of his client engagements, Adam is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute, participating in the Northwest’s NEXT group. He has written a published case study in ULI’s Real Estate Market Analysis book and has had articles published in Urban Land Magazine, Builder and Developer, California Real Estate Journal, and California Builder.

Education
Adam received his master’s degree in real estate development from Portland State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in literature (with honors) from Yale University.

Hobbies/Interests
Some of Adam’s interests are playing acoustic guitar, biking, kayaking, and being silly with his two kids.
